A few weeks ago, I took a drive with my cousin down the road we drive to get home. She's a painter, so she wanted photos for landscape paintings, and I'd always wanted to spend some quality time with our road, so we went together. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, clear skies or not, this road always takes my breath away.
This old, run down cottage is in the middle of a cow field (like so many of the others on this road). When I see it, I try and imagine what it would be like be there when it was being used.
Over the next few weeks, I'll highlight my favorite spots along the way. This is the first of many to come.
