District Doughnut.

Over the past few weeks, I've had the honor of working with the geniuses at District Doughnut. They've taken an American classic, and in my opinion, they've improved it. These are, by far, the best doughnuts I've ever had. And I encourage everyone to enjoy them, as well.

I loved watching this story develop and come together. It was such a joy to work with Christine and Olivia in the kitchen. These guys put in a lot of love and time into making these delicious delicacies. Soon, D.C. can enjoy these treats on the daily with a great cup of coffee. Keep an eye out for them on Barracks Row in Eastern Market.

Recently, my friends and I went to a lovely place called Lake Anna. We spent most of our time laying or sleeping on the dock or creaming each other on board games. It was a weekend all of us needed. Just to get away from our stressful lives and enjoy each other.

American University's Center for Media and Social Impact puts on a yearly conference - Media that Matters. It attracts media makers from every style, all of them looking to use their craft for a good cause. There were filmmakers, comic book artists, game designers, the works. The experience was one of a kind, and the knowledge I gained was invaluable.
